01 / Identity

The Human Element.

I am an engineer by training, but a builder by nature. Graduating from Ashesi University with a BSc. in Computer Engineering didn't just give me a degree; it gave me a framework for solving reality's problems.

I view life through the lens of the engineering design cycle: prototype, test, fail, iterate, and grow. I believe that resilience isn't just about bouncing back from a bug in the code or a setback in life; it's about building systems within yourself that can withstand the weight of your ambitions.

Whether I am writing a perception pipeline for an autonomous vehicle or orchestrating a team, my core philosophy remains the same: Constant, calculated growth. I am not afraid of what I do not know, because I have mastered the process of learning.

The Churning of a Deep Thinker

I arrived with 6As, thinking I knew what it meant to be a student. Ashesi humbled me, forcing me to question every strategy I had ever used. This was a season of evolution—a semester-by-semester fine-tuning of my mind.

The Engineering program presented the most challenging problems I have faced, but in that "churning," I found my capacity for the unimaginable. Today, I resonate with the words: "I am thinking now." My education here didn't just give me a degree; it gave me a mind.

03 / Engagements

A Memoir of Action.

Sep 2021 — Aug 2022

President, Mfantsipim School Choir

The IntentI joined the Mfantsipim School Choir because of my deep love for music and my desire to sharpen my skills as a pianist, even though I consider myself a bit rusty now. I saw it as a chance to immerse myself in a creative environment while refining my technical ability on the keys.

The ExperienceI led the choir in maintaining the high level of togetherness and decorum required to remain the premier boys' school choir in Ghana. I was responsible for keeping the group organized and ensuring the choir functioned with the precision and discipline the school is known for.

The AchievementMy team and I successfully organized and executed Cantate Domino, our hallmark annual music concert. We managed to maintain the choir’s organized fashion and the together-ness needed to be effective and stay at the top of our field.

The LessonsI learned how to organize large-scale events, how to budget, and how to work within a team. This role taught me how to be patient with people and the art of managing different personalities toward a common goal—a core part of my character development.

President, Ashesi Engineering Students’ Association (AESA)

The IntentI wanted to challenge the status quo and push the scope of the association further into the student body’s daily life.

The ExperienceI led the team in organizing programs to help engineering and computer science students balance their lives. This included 'de-stress' programs, hackathons to apply theoretical knowledge, and alumni talks to provide experiential guidance for their futures. I also pioneered collaborations with schools like Academic City to host joint hackathons for socialization and healthy competition.

The AchievementSuccessfully elevated the visibility of the association and created a platform where students could bridge the gap between their studies and the professional world.

The LessonsI learned how to balance intense school work with the high demands of planning major events. It taught me how to relate professionally with faculty and how to remain patient and resilient in a leadership role.
